WE ENVISION A WORLD WHERE….
Living a rural land-based lifestyle within our one-planet limits is accessible, affordable, and enjoyable for all.

OUR MISSION IS….
To facilitate access to land in mid-south Wales, offering households the chance to secure long-term tenure in order to establish ‘one planet development’ (OPD) livelihoods, or other regenerative farming/housing models, without extensive start-up capital.

TO DO THIS, WE WILL….
Acquire suitable sites, and offer innovative finance solutions for people to gain secure long-term residence on the land
Help facilitate groups of interested parties to develop ‘one planet villages/hamlets’ together
Safeguard the land at affordable prices for sustainable/regenerative use in perpetuity
Spread the word and educate on all things ‘OPD’.
Form partnerships and develop communities to these ends.
Offer social and environmental ethical investment opportunities.

So what is ‘One Planet Development’?

It’s a Wales-only planning policy for new eco-builds, both in or adjacent to existing settlements or in the open countryside, providing the houses follow certain criteria. See ‘One Planet’ Development for more details on the principles.

We are registered with the National Community Land Trust Network.
